The Change Agents

“Ask any young person what their aspirations are. Chances are, the majority will tell you the same: ‘I want to change the world’. Now, ask any adult what their aspirations are. What are the odds of an adult telling you ‘I want to change the world’? (None, right?)

I have been told several times that I’ll grow wiser, more cynical, less rebellious. That at some point I will no longer think of changing the world. Maybe those people are right – and I will end up becoming ‘grown-up’  (as they term it).

Or then again, maybe I won’t.”
