Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing, and rightdoing, there is a field. I will meet you there.

Our deepest nature yearns for unity, for genuine connection with others and yet for many, the feeling of separation from others pervades our lives. Learning to communicate effectively with those we love and the world at large is one of the keys to our experience of well being. It is also key in terms of bridging apparent differences between countries. If we want to build a healthy, thriving foundation for our relationships, it is important to learn good communication skills. Ones that promote openness, not closure and defense, with others. Our evolving world is counting on us to learn and apply these skills now. Let us begin.
Conflict Resolution
Center for Nonviolent Communication: An International Organization
“Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is based on the principles of nonviolence– the natural state of compassion when no violence is present in the heart. NVC begins by assuming that we are all compassionate by nature and that violent strategies—whether verbal or physical—are learned behaviors taught and supported by the prevailing culture. NVC also assumes that we all share the same, basic human needs, and that each of our actions are a strategy to meet one or more of these needs. People who practice NVC have found greater authenticity in their communication, increased understanding, deepening connection and conflict resolution. The NVC community is active in over 65 countries around the globe.”
